As Bill Greenberg, a coach and founder says, "We have one kid who's been skating with us for about two years and he's been too disabled to push himself. One day, I said 'Hey Louis, who do you want to have push you?' He said 'Not today - today I'm going to push myself.'
And when you think about, that's a pretty profound thing for him to say. Because that's what we're doing - we're giving kids the opportunity to push themselves. To grow their self-esteem, their confidence, and to earn a sense of accomplishment - all through playing hockey."
